Cristina Galhardo Vilão practices law for nearly 20 years in the fields of financial law, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law, as well as aviation. She holds a Master in Law (LL.M.) by the Institute of Air and Space Law of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is currently President of the IASL European Alumni(ae)Association.
Cristina has extensive experience in arbitration, as a lawyer and arbitrator. She was Chairperson of the Arbitral Tribunal of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal.
She is a founding partner of Galhardo Vilão, Torres, Sociedade de Advogados, RL, and formerly a partner of Oliveira Martins, Moura, Esteves e Associados - Sociedade de Advogados (member of Landwell, correspondent law firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers). She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1990.
